THOMAS D'ARCY

Director

Thomas has more than 15 years experience in project engineering management within the transmission and distribution industry. He has led and managed engineering substation projects for National Grid (UK) and Orsted (Denmark) and is also experienced in the introduction and type registration of new high voltage products with National Grid (UK).

​He has contracted as Senior Project Manager, Lead Engineer, HV Package Manager for GE (Alstom), Orsted and others.

​

​His experience includes the delivery of over fifty bays of high voltage (400kV and 132kV) gas insulated switchgear. He has been commended for his key engineering responsibility for the transmission connection of the world’s first 1 GW offshore windfarm.

​

Thomas holds an Executive MBA from Aston Business School and his dissertation focused on the strategic capabilities of an engineering systems business within the UK market.
