Director

Lodewyk is a Chartered Engineer and project leader with over 30 years’ experience in project and design management of high voltage transmission and distribution substations.


Originally from South Africa, Lodewyk ran his own project management and engineering consultancy for sixteen years before moving to the United Kingdom in 2007. He has since held Project Leadership positions at Alstom and Laing O’Rourke, delivering large scale transmission projects including Tilbury and Wimbledon substation for National Grid.


He has presented both client and contractors, including six years as the National Grid and JV Project Manager for projects valued over £100m under the National Grid South East Alliance with partners GE (Alstom), Mott Macdonald and Skanska.
